1. What this platform is
Lodestar Meridian Exchange (“Meridian”) provides a practice trading simulation (Virtual Trading) at no cost and no risk, and — where a user has independently linked their own third-party brokerage account — access to place real orders through that account (Live Trading). Meridian does not hold, custody, or have access to your funds at any point; every real order executes directly through your own linked broker.
2. Risk disclosure
Trading real financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance, including anything shown in Virtual Trading’s simulated environment, is not indicative of future results. Nothing on this platform — including trade broadcasts, mentorship sessions, or community discussion — constitutes investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Consult a licensed financial advisor before committing real capital.
3. Account & eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any linked broker API keys confidential. Meridian encrypts linked broker secrets at rest but cannot recover a linked account if you lose access to your own broker credentials.
4. No warranty
The platform, including live market data and any third-party integrations, is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Market data may be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate; Meridian is not liable for losses resulting from data or service interruptions.
5. Changes
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
